I had the pleasure of photographing Madeline and her boyfriend, Curtis, a few weeks back during a weekend in Las Vegas. It's always such a great experience to be able to travel for a weekend away, and be able to hook up with a sweet couple just like these two for a romantic and dreamy photoshoot. You may be wondering why we chose to do our photos in the hotel gardens. Well.. our original plan was to do a gorgeous shoot in the grand canyon during a helicopter tour. We even asked One Day Affair (based in Halifax NS) to create us a gorgeous bouquet for it! But, as we all know.. sometimes things don't go according to plan. I may have ended up not getting on the same helicopter they were on! Whoops. Madeline and Curtis were incredibly flexible though, so it didn't bother them one bit to reschedule our shoot for the magnificent gardens of the Bellagio! It actually turned out incredibly romantic. We noticed that about 10 minutes into our photo session, the hotel put on some beautiful love songs on their outdoor speakers. Of course, as with most improvised experiences - it turned out to be everything we could have dreamed for. Thank you Madeline and Curtis for spending this incredible morning with me. This photoshoots lesson - when in doubt, just wing it!
