My most favourite dappled girl, Vanna (Holiday) with her rider Jenna Tarrel are featured today. Jenna and Vanna ride with the Halifax Lancers show team. It's always a pleasure to photograph these two through the whole season, from June to August.
Unfortunately we weren't able to attend the June show due to the wild fires in Nova Scotia last year, but boy did we have fun at the Summer shows! It turned out to be a great season after all.
Jenna & Vanna are photographed here showing in a downpour, showing in the funniest class (the horse hunt team) in their team costume, The Three Bears. They also showed in the 2'6 stake, had black background portraits and even a photoshoot in the fields! What an awesome season for these two.
Q: What are your plans for the 2024 season? Anything specific you're working on?
A: Show season 2024 will be my last as a junior rider. Vanna and I have been working hard to compete in 3’ all season. We have been training for flying lead changes. Vanna loves jumping and gets excited so we have also been working on a consistent pace. I think we are ready to tackle the season!
