I've never photographed a gender reveal before this one. Katia and Brandon sent me a message saying they were on their way up from Yarmouth the next day, and wondering if I would be interested in doing a very last minute session would involve revealing the gender of their baby. I said of course! I would love to. But only if I could get creative with it. I told them I wanted to do something different from the usual cake colour, balloon popping, smoke bomb things - I wanted to do something unique to them as a family.
So, we came together (via text) and brainstormed a few ideas, until we came up with the idea to have Rousseau Chocolatier create us some custom chocolates. The lighting in the cafe is so gorgeous, so we knew it would make for the perfect session!
