Santorini Vacation

Our first vacation in a very long time. Okay – so that’s coming from someone who travels a lot – a long time might not be the same for you, but for me, 2 years is a long time! I haven’t had the luxury of getting on a plane since we came back from our Aruba vacation right before the pandemic started. See it here.

Greece has been on my bucket list for a very long time! Oh my, did it ever meet all my expectations & more. We had the pleasure of staying right on the edge of Oia. Our Airbnb (find it here) was just about a two minute walk from the city center, nestled right into the cliff side. It was a phenomenal view to wake up to every morning.

The views from our Airbnb were incredible, and being within such close proximity to Oia made our trip that much more memorable. Here are some photos I took while we wandered around in Oia.

A vacation isn't really a vacation for us unless we put ourselves through a enormously long walk, haha. So here we go – Fira to Oia, 10.5km. The photos are mostly from the start, when we did Fira – Firostefani, and then I put my camera away because it started really turning into a hike from there! In many of the photos, you’ll see a little white town WAY off in the distance – that’s Oia. Our final destination. Phew! Our feet hurt after this one, but it was beautiful!
